Sherri Burrows

Sherri found the love of performing at the tender age of 3 and hasn’t stopped since. She started out as ‘the teachers daughter’ at Debbie Rae Dancers and trained in RAD ballet under Karen Anne Thomas. She graduated from ED5 International in 2011 with a Diploma in Performing Arts under William A Forsythe and has been working professionally ever since.

She has worked in many major corporate events, Theatre, TVC’s and live shows both within Australia and Internationally including ‘The Boy from Oz’ (Production Company), Crystal Cruises (swing/dance captain), ‘Palazzo Varietè’ (Mannheim/Saarbrucken, Germany), La Bouche Showgirls (Heidelberg/Luxembourg, Germany) ‘Spiegelesque Too’, ‘Candy Man’, (Kermond Creative), ‘The Masked Singer’ (Channel 10) and Sydney Showboat (Australian Cruise Group).

Sherri began teaching at the age of 15 and always had a natural ability and love for choreography. She’s been a guest teacher at workshops while living in Germany and choreographed many Special Event numbers aboard Crystal Cruises, Sydney Showboat and Cabaret Shows. For the past 6 years, Sherri has had the pleasure of being a freelance teacher all over Sydney, specifically at ED5 International working with the full-time students which was highly rewarding work. Sherri is delighted to finally make the move back to her home roots and come full circle where it all began. She is super keen to pass on her knowledge and pure love of dance to the next generation of eager performers.
