Shelley Roberts
Ballet - RAD Registered Teacher
Shelley Roberts is an internationally trained dance artist and educator with professional experience across performance, touring, and broadcast production. She trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School (Canada), Elmhurst Ballet School (England), and The McDonald College (Australia), with formal training in Classical Ballet (R.A.D, Cecchetti and I.S.T.D), Modern, Jazz (I.S.T.D), Hip-Hop, Tap and Contemporary.
Her performance credits include The Nutcracker with the Alberta Ballet Company, national touring with Darc Swan Dance Company in contemporary works by Chris Jannides and performances in the London pantomime The Dancing Princesses. Additional credits include live concert performance at the Sydney Entertainment Centre with Tom Jones, worked alongside Australian Idol Paulini Curuenavuli and extensive corporate and concert engagements.
Shelley was a Creative Assistant and Skeleton Crew Dancer on So You Think You Can Dance Australia (Season 3), assisting Lead Choreographer Farah Shah in choreography development and pre-visualisation for live broadcast. She also performed choreography for production video documentation supporting producers and camera departments.
Shelley holds her A.R.A.D and R.A.D Teaching Certificate and is a Mentor for the Royal Academy of Dance.
